Well, it's a good way to learn what to expect in Mayfield, and meet more people your age. It's not too bad. You're around my age, right? Maybe we'd have classes together.

I suppose you could not go to school under the assumption that the brainwashing will always be temporary, or to see what would happen were you to continue not attending school.

That's not an assumption I'm willing to make without some evidence, or at least several corroborated witness accounts. I have someone I have to watch out for, and I can't do that if I'm brainwashed.
