So yesterday was the longest day of the year. More sunlight than... well... no sunlight! The majority of my "longest day of the year" consisted of sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours. So, I went on my first "real" hiking trip this weekend. As for "real" I mean straight backpacking. Not the typical drive to the trailhead, walk in, walk out trip. This was a 2 1/2 day event.
