Thanksgiving Album

I decided to share some of the photos I took this past Thanksgiving weekend when visiting my parents. Most of these were taken on two different walks that I took with my siblings. ( Lots of trees this way. )

Wow! Your photographs are so good, rusty_armour, and lovely! I love trees, too. They are so good for one's soul (as well as giving you oxygen!) You are fortunate to be able to walk in that forest. The path winding through the trees is inviting and alluring. The autumn colours are glorious, though I also love the bright greens that we don't have much of here in the south. It's good that the houses have lots of trees in the gardens. I like that the bare tree has not been cut down, but has baskets of flowers hung in the branches. The wild flowers in your last photo are pretty.

And, of course, Tuppence is so cute and fluffy, and Barnaby so elegant.

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful photos, rusty_armour. I've sneaked some time during work to enjoy them. Well, everyone else has left already! I can enjoy them even more in peace at home.

I absolutely agree with you about trees. I think they are good for the soul. I know that I feel peace and calmness whenever I look at them. One of my favourite sounds in the world is the sound of the wind blowing through the trees.

You are fortunate to be able to walk in that forest. The path winding through the trees is inviting and alluring.

I used to go there all the time as a teenager and daydream about Robin of Sherwood. It's only recently that I've had a chance to explore it because my brother and sister like to go there now. I had to confess to them that I used to go there during my adolescence, something I wasn't supposed to do. However, as you pointed out, the path winding through the trees is both inviting and alluring... ;-)
