That's very kind of you, karen9. I'm sure thesmallhobbit will appreciate the belated birthday wishes. :-)
This is another of your marvelous cards, rusty_armour
This time, I think you're being too kind, though having such a great photo to work with certainly made my job easier! :-)
I see I will really have to try using Dreamwidth as well because more people are using it than LJ now. Your DW journal looks even better than your LJ!
I think quite a few people have migrated to Dreamwidth full time, though I still belong to communities and have friends that straddle both. Unfortunately, I don't think that either LJ and Dreamwidth are used nearly as much as they used to be. A lot of people seem to have abandoned their accounts entirely. I know I don't see nearly as much fannish activity here as I used to. In any case, if there are friends or communities you've lost track of, you might be able to rediscover them on Dreamwidth.
Yes, it is unfortunate that LJ and Dreamwidth aren't used as much as they used to be. I think people are using Tik Tok, Instagram, etc. They don't want to spend time and thought writing anything more substantial than one-liners and recording silly videos. I am fond of LJ. I have made some good friends and shared interests. Friends have shared their writing and well-expressed thoughts, photographs, etc. I'm very glad you're still here!
