You're not a fruit loop, you're just stressed and it's perfectly understandable, considering. It will be nice for you when you have the break at the BBQ, that'll be nice. Don't let your friends bother you, they are acting rather immature and you're probably just seeing that side of them, because you've had to buckle down and get serious right now, you know? Take care :)
Ur new course sounds really interesting. How long is it? I heard that at least in the US, you have to be at Uni for like 5-6 years or something to be a lawyer.
My course goes for 2 years, only because it's accelerated learning (three semesters in a year not the usual two)
It's different in the US becuase you cant start in a law degree as soon as you finish high school. You have to do a "pre-law" program or something for three years then do a law degree. Unlike here when you can just go straight into a normal law degree.
And unlike the US, we dont have to sit a bar exam here. You do a postgraduate course or an article clerkship and then become a fully fledged lawyer.
The thing about Bond which I really like is how they put you in real life situations, like the Negotiation trials I did. When I do criminal Law we do moot court which is a mock court case with judges, witnesses etc. We also do advocacy exercises etc...there are about 8 different practical components we do which involve speaking and working in a team and putting yourself in a posistion like you would do if you were working as a lawyer. I know most uni's do moot court trials, but none to the extent that I have seen at Bond
