Hey, sorry to hear that things aren't going so well up there but at the same time I'm really glad that you stood up to your friends and didn't take their shit, if any of my friends made any sort of comment like that about gay people, especially seeing as my best mate is gay, I would be exactly the same. You will find much better people soon I'm sure, whether at uni or outside it. It will be cool for you to live completely on your own I think, your place sounds really nice.

And yet another Melb person that has gone to QLD to study. A couple of my mates did that when we left school!! And yes Melbourne people are a friendly bunch, and surprisingly more friendly when you meet them outside of Melbourne. I dont get it.
Anyways mate, hope things get better for ya up there, and that new place does sound sh*t hot!
