I opened the posting screen on the grounds that I was going to talk about the threshold I crossed last night. Then I stared at the subject field and realized that a lot else has happened that should be written about. I will not, however, write about this stuff. In part because a lot of it is still live and messy - and it's REALLY tacky to talk

I'm glad to hear your good news, especially the results of your meeting. As for the drama, I hope it works itself out with a minimum of damage to you. Good and bad aside, it's just good to hear from you. :)
