faerieboots needs a new computer. Though she's loathe to admit it, her geriatric Dell lappy gives her no end of difficulty at all the wrong moments. My old desktop is great for most stuff, it just couldn't handle the graphics card needed for Fallout 3. (I hope it can handle TF2... if not I may gut it and try another scratchbuild

I have a 24" Acer LCD that I got for around that price, and I'm very, very happy with it.

Samsung's a great company - I have a 3 year old 19" widescreen that doesn't have one single goddamned dead pixel.

The only other company I'd trust (apart from Apple, lol) is Dell - apparently they make fantastic monitors. If only their computers were the same quality.
