Dimension Jump: The Adventures of Frankie - Friday

May 11, 2015 19:02

I was sorting through photos and realised no way was I going to fit all of them in one go and have something readable. So I'll split out the con report into days. Friday, here we go.

Things I heave learnt:
  • Soft shoes are a must. Otherwise bad things happen. Bad, painful things.
  • The East Midlands still have terrible mobile reception.

omg it looks so fun. I'm so jelly.

(man S7, I enjoyed it. I also liked Back to Earth though, so my opinions may not be the best)

RD has always been in my life. Its really weird, because I used to borrow the brother-in-laws illegal copies of it on VHS when I was 8; and when the new series came out Lily got into it and she was telling us all "Oh its so funny. You should see it" like you know... we haven't been seeing it since I was HER age and all. It made me really realise how weird it was that it's always been THERE. I've got the novels, I had the Smeg Ups VHS, I had a script book once too.

Honestly, if you're ever able to go, you should. I can't exactly say I have much con experience but I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to them. Everyone's so nice!

baaah I liked Back to Earth too. Sort of. I liked it at the start, then didn't like it because I really don't like "going to the real world" plots, and then liked it again once the twist happened. So overall liked it! I should watch it again.

I first got into it just after I'd stopped living with my dad full time, so it's kind of special to me because of that. and oh man the novels, I collected EVERY book and tape I could find relating to it. Just reread the first one because the con made me crave it. And I had Smeg Ups on VHS too and I loved Mr Guitar (everything's Mr!) and YES I had a script book as well. I had to have it aaaallllll.

Thanks. She was good to have around because I was so nervous having something soft and fluffy to hold on to helps. Not that I had any need to be nervous because everyone was so nice, but you know what I mean.
