clicking randomly through reocities because my hands are cramping up too much to do more. (physio appt in June, can't come fast enough)

start to wonder, since it was very much rusty's first internet fandom, 'hey, how long before I find a petz site?'

done.it's so blindy... but also kind of weirdly beautiful? eh, I guess you had to be from that era ( Read more... )

I know, even I did it! My earliest pages tried to be coordinated, but they were still blinding. Especially the ochre text on bright sky blue patterning.

The purple courier on black, meanwhile, is a throwback to when I got more readable.

I still use bright colors on webpages!

...to test what CSS'd bits are going where, because it's hard to miss a #F0F border. okay, that doesn't quite count.

I could make a layout that used Windows 3.1 color schemes and include a hot dog stand option. yes.

I can't remember clearly, but I think the first thing I had was neon green on black? Surprisingly decent. That might just have been X-Files fanpage influence, mind, so I can't take credit for it :p.

Hey, I do that too! Okay, I think a lot of people do.

...oh man I want a Windows 3.1 layout, but please include Black Leather Jacket as well if you do, dammit!

Fluorescent looks like blindy fun, too.

and hey, neon green on black is cool. I like bright stuff on black in general. Especially my purple Courier. There's a reason I'm using it on Neocities. Purple Courier was me.
