Party Time, Continued

There was delicious food at the party. There was a bit of nabe(pot-style) food there, with cabbage other vegetables and udon noodles and meat. We used Eyal's takoyaki maker. Takoyaki is this sort of small ball with octopus in it and sauce on top. It's really good... and really hot. I at all my cabbage and most of the other stuff in the nabe but pushed my carrots off to the side. Yoko made me eat the carrots when she saw that. That's, like, the only time I'll eat vegetables is if Yoko asks me to or cooks them into a meal for me, 'cause then it doesn't seem as bad. Her cooking is delicious. I think that's why I've gained weight...
Yosuke and Go wanted to play some Super Smash Brothers, Melee, so I got in on it. I never got first (I haven't played in a while and I'm used to stock, not score) but I never got below third. Mostly I got second. Yuko, one of Yoko's friends, was disappointed because she thought I was supposed to be good. When Ted said he wanted to play, everyone quit because he's ruthless. We all agreed to some Halo, though. I didn't totally suck at that, either.
Yoko had a great time with her friends, making food, putting fun things in the takoyaki maker (we had some with chocolate chips), and making me eat vegetables. Then we all went to karaoke!
I don't think I've ever had so much fun at karaoke. I mean, I love singing so I always have a good time, but this time there were so many good friends around, and they brought some drinks, too. I didn't have enough to do anything to me but Go was pretty blitzed. He was singing and dancing like crazy with a face like a beet. Yoko even had little cherry cheeks from drinking a little bit. There were English songs and Japanese songs, and Eyal even faked a bit of a Korean song. Eyal once learned the Korean alphabet and he's been there once, so I trust his authority in faking the language.
I haven't heard Yoko sing a full song loud and seriously. Her voice is sweet and great to listen to. She refuses to accept that she may have a bit of nerd in her, but there she was, singing the first opening theme song to Inu Yasha with her friend. You can try to fight it and deny it, Yoko, but someday you'll have to acknowledge and accept your nerdiness, slight though it may be!
Monica left a comment on someone's LJ and I thought it was really sweet of her to do so, but that person deleted the comment.

So I'll retype the important part here as well as I can remember it:
"I happen to think Yoko is a beautiful individual."

Thanks, Monica ^_^ Yoko said she thinks you're sweet for saying so. Also, she saw your facebook (I'm not sure if she requested to add you yet) and says you're cute. She has good taste, eh?
