Please note my use of the word "severe". This man was talking very loudly to someone who was not there for the entire 45 minutes I was on the train, and even broke into the "Do-Re-Mi" song at one point. And who says I'm knocking them?

And I had White Castle for brunch today. It was fantastic. Mwahahaha.

Embarrassingly enough, my username is a character in Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. Ruta Skadi was the queen of the Latvian witches and was only in the book for about two pages or so, but she made an impression and I used the name for my LJ.

OK, it's bugging me, is your subject a Ben Lee or Dar Williams quote? I think Ben Lee but I can't decide.
Also, what is the other church you attend sometimes??? (other than Ebenezer)

Ben Lee. It's from the song "Begin," which I listen to on the El almost non-stop.

When not at Ebenezer, I'm at Holy Trinity.
