I didn't want to take the sleep aid that my doctor gave me, just because I know that it's addictive, but god damn. Even when I want to go to bed early, I can't sleep. Fuck it. I'll just have to suck it up and take something. It may be that I'll just have to take something for a few weeks or so until I get an actual sleep schedule. I need to start ( Read more... )

I know what you're talking about... I am bi-polar and I have to take trazodone to sleep... if I don't... I only sleep about 2-3 hours a night. I feel for you and i hope that your meds work for you.

The Adderall is working great, actually. I just kept thinking that I still could get to sleep without the other shit, if I really tried. And I finally realized that I couldn't.

i can start assingin you homework assignments. you can start on them around bedtime, youll be asleep within minutes.

ill also volunteer for the conking over the head job. hell you would even have to pay me, thats how good a friend i am.

Yeah, when I was on Dexedrine (predecessor to Adderall) they also put my on Tofranil to knock me out. The odd thing about these meds is that they are stimulants...but they calm down ADHD kids like us. Anyway, you have to weigh the options. No sleep, or possible withdrawl if you stop taking the sleep aid in the future. I hope you get Lunesta or Ambien CR....good shit.

I tried Ambien but didn't like it much. I do have Xanax however.
