You know, I just looked over some of my old lj entries and I saw that almost all of them were about Jonathan in some way or another...missing him or whatnot. This is interesting because I know that he was not the only thing going on in my life, then. I guess that's what happens when you are newly in love...especially newly in love and far away. Hey Ruth, it's nice to see you writing on here. I still like reading everyone's journals. It's weird to see people change, even just through their writing. Anyway, I would say there are many worse things than being in love. Newly in love or not.... both highly underrated and overrated. Funny how that works. I also went skiing this weekend (took my husband for V-day early) and was reminded of our less than perfect trip to Baker our freshman year. Do you remember that? Then we got our ears pierced? Amazing how easily entertained back in the day!!! If only I could have held onto that more =)

OF COURSE I could tell it was you as soon as you mentioned your husband (and Baker, of course). I don't think I'll ever forget that trip we took. I was in a ton of pain afterward, but it was so much fun! And, I missed classes the next day, which wasn't all a bad thing. In fact, this weekend was only my 3rd time snowboarding and I was telling people about Baker and how I followed that snowboarding class ( ... )
