Hi, I usually go under the username mara93, but I'm testing this journal (my test journal) now so that's why no userpic. I really love this layout and many of your others. The problem is when I try to use this one I get a really weird look. The background disappears too. I am using IE.

Is it unable to work in IE at all? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

I use CSS3 for coding, and IE still doesn't support it (even in newer versions). So I don't test in IE.

Me again, sorry! Is there any way to disable the journal title appearing in the header?

As the header image appears in header-title block, you can't just disable it. Instead, try to delete the "Caroline" title from your settings.

Yeah, I deleted the original titles for my recent and friends page, and this is what it replaced it with. The only place my name appears is in my Basic Info section and I don't think I can leave that entry blank.

I understand. So you can also try adding the code:

.header-title {
color: transparent;
}

The transparency will work in any normal browser except IE.

Awesome layouts! I've been following your work from mintyapple for so long, that I decided to add you finally, hope you don't mind. :)

Saw your textures from your visit to Istanbul. I loved them! So nice to hear you had good times here :)

Hope to talk to you again,
Chuck

You're very welcome here!

You're from Turkey, right? I liked being in Istanbul very much and I hope to go there once again!

Yes, I am. Istanbul is my birth town. But I'm living in a different city since childhood. I'd like to visit there as a tourist, too. Unless, the crowd is too much to bear :)

I love this layout, but it's giving me problems, it seems T___T

I'm viewing it in Firefox and it seems like the top image and the sidebar aren't connecting T___T Any idea where I went wrong? (Just go to my journal and you'll see the odd discrepancies...)

Thanks, and hope to hear from you soon :)

Yes I have an idea why it happens. You disabled the controlstrip, so the content moved to the top. If you'd like the controlstrip disabled, first enable it in your settings, and then use the code to hide it:

#lj_controlstrip_new {display: none;}

That worked perfectly!! Thank you!!!

Also, just out of curiosity, is there any way to disable the profile 'title' in the entry box? I don't really much care for having my name under my username since it puts a scroll box in there. I made the sidebar box a bit bigger so the calendar wouldn't have a scroll box, but the profile gets me everytime---it would just be easier if LJ had a feature where you could get rid of the 'name' function...

Just out of curiosity, but why didn't you make the sidebar bigger so there wouldn't be a scrollbox on the calendar/other entry boxes?

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon >D

I'm not quite sure - what you meant by "profile 'title' in the entry box"?

Actually I tested this layout at a month with 5 weeks, and it could be 6:))) I fixed that in my next layout, but had not enough time to alter the code for this one.
