It's absolutely fucking terrifying that even now, roughly 60 years after the civil rights movement ended, 45 after homosexuality was legalised, we still get people with power saying such horrific things, and promoting such hideous ideas.

It's a fact that there is a lot of homophobia in the world, still that just really made me shiver. My mind just cannot quite grasp how someone can believe that, and even stand up and adress people and say that. It's so fucking sad. And yes, terrifying. You'd think we've come so far but sometimes, it seems like we're still stuck in the Middle Ages.
