We officially put our house on the market today.  It's not a good time to sell, though I'm told it's a good time to buy.  I've bought three houses, and will have sold them all at a loss once we sell this one, so I'm not that impressed by what a good time to buy it is.  (Yes, interest rates are at historic lows.  They were the last two times as well

My mother still blames the fact that our old house didn't sell well on the fact that the real estate agent had an open house (we weren't living in state at the time) on the hottest day of the summer, and only turned the A/C on the the second she arrived, so the house was a furnace.

I still miss my old strawberry patch. :[ and a compost heap would be nice again. at least the new apartment has a disposal in the sink
