I first got into Ruthie from the Les Mis dream cast video (which i know is a very typical answer if this is anything like the other Ruthie places i've seen). We had it on VHS at my house when i was little and then i got really into watching it in high school. like really into watching it.

i follow the careers of alot of the people who participated in it (quast, michael ball, and Lea Salonga mostly) but ruthie stood out as absolutely fantastic. she brought so much to the character and i thought she had a very unique voice and i liked her alot despite the AWFUL wig. random thing to notice but i feel like i can find her in any ensemble she's in from the way she sings her vowels.

anyone else notice the vowel thing? or hate her tenth anniversary cast wig?
