Oh September, how good you've been to me.
I've always loved September. Mostly because it means my birthday is here but this year it seemed to be packed with a bunch of events to do.
Sept 13th: I had obtained free movie tickets to a screening of Pitch Perfect. It was a chance to get out of the house and wear my pink wig. I took my 11 year old nephew as a guest. THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME. I didn't think it would be as funny and enjoyable as it turned out to be but it exceeded my expectations. Go see it if you're in the mood for comedy.
Sept 16th: Gym Class Heroes and Allstar Weekend preformed a free show over at Irving Plaza in NYC. I took my 11 year old nephew to the show, seeing as how he acquired his own tickets. It was his first concert and it seemed right that I would be the one to take him. We waited out in line from 12pm till 5:30pm. It was provided by pop-tarts so we got some free pop-tarts as we went into the venue. We weren't far from the barricade during Allstar Weekend set. I didn't mind too much seeing as I wasn't there for Allstar weekend. There were girls screming and singing along with the Disney band, I even bobbed along with some songs, but once they were done m nephew and I raced to the barricade and hung on. Gym Class was awesome! Neon Hitch came out and preformed "Ass Back Home" and she looked beautiful. My nephew won a meet and greet pass to meet Gym Class since he was the youngest person in the place and I made him get an autograph ticket for my friend. She couldn't go because of problems at home and she LOVES GCH/Travis. My Nephew got his picture and I almost lost my voice at an awesome concert where I was up front. Thank you Pop-tarts and GCH.
Sept 17th: AMANDA'S HOME. One of my best friends came home for college for the weekend. She had a few days off from school and decided to come to the city. I visited her in her house. Gabriel was already there. They were on tumblr when I got there with netflix on the tv. We surfed tumblr a bit, went to the store for some house supplies, we skyped with my other best friend, Delaney, we ate pasta, made cookies, hung out with Kevin who arrived later, watched Battle Royale (which is a good movie btw) and said goodbye to Amanda who was leaving the next day. It was a fun day.
Sept 25th: MY BIRTHDAY! It started when Delaney and Amanda called me at 11:58pm on Sept. 24th to keep me on the line. They bombarded me with "happy birthday"s through phone and on line. My mom washed my hair, I watched a few 'The Simpsons" episodes and waited for Taylor to come over. I gave Taylor the autographed ticket from Travie and she almost cried. (I loved seeing her so happy.) We went over to Kevin's house where they initiated me into the drinking world. We then walked to Wendy's. It doesn't sound like much but I was surrounded with friends and that means a whole lot to me.
Sept 27th: My sister took me to see an advanced screening of Looper with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This is a movie you HAVE to see.. It was amazing. It should be best movie of the year. I loved it and I don't usually take to action movies. Just go watch it. you won't be disappointed. I liked it so much I took a poster. :D
