first of all, IPC is quite possibly the worst class I've ever taken at CUAA (just ask Val). Either that or issues in soc. science with Guinn.

Second, gray areas do suck. I don't like wishy-washiness either. For the record I consider myself a democrat who is staunchly against abortion. However, did you ever consider what it's like to be and actual in the flesh Christian who also happens to be ::gasp:: a democrat and what it's like to be one on a miniscule Christian campus which is the epitome of GOP's offspirng and political stomping grounds. It's worse than being a cubs fan in chicago tonight. think about it. sometimes, it's not worth starting the issue up in the classroom setting.

my qualms are with those people who are so willing to hash it out one-on-one, but then clam up when put on the spot ( ... )

i always think it's funny when profs do that
because...it's predictable
the only "good one" that i ever did was based on stereotypes
that was in diversity, an ed class
way more effective

i agree with adrienne
class would not be my choice time to "get into it"
especially if it's a lame-ass class
i'd do whatever i can to get out of it so that i could make it back to my room for a nappy
but that's just me
if you asked me if i were pro-nap
i would walk over to the "yes" side and curl up
...just to prove a point
