I got fined $20 for not screwing in screws to my desk. I do this job for maintenance. I would have had the tools to do so tomorrow. I did not have them today. It takes, at most, 5 minutes (to do two desks). Basically, when I'm doing it tomorrow, I should be getting paid $240/hour. As far as I know, I get $6.50 ( Read more... )

That sux dude.

Fortunately for myself, I didn't have to move back a single piece of furniture. And I'm out scott-free. Well, that is pending that Louden and Kascinez put my bed back together and put it back in the room. But I got checked out without having to move back to the Concordia Special.

hey class of 2006....

...remember how at our graduation, Pastor Adler's closing prayer included something about how we should, as alumni, look back on our time at Concordia with a glaze of forgiveness covering any mistakes made by administration, faculty, etc. because we are all sinful people? I thought it was ironic. Now, don't get me wrong, I love CUAA, and they have done a lot of "doing the caring thing" (as rachel put it) for me, but I also know that we've all had those experiences with the $20 for screws where you just kind of gape and think:

You have got to be kidding.

I just thought it was interesting that Pastor Adler found a way to ask us to forget, forgive those things IN THE CLOSING PRAYER. Adrienne and I shook our heads.........
