Realised I've missed running so have been trying to get back into it...

I haven't done any serious running since 5 October so didn't feel ready to go straight back to Parkrun. So I decided to try running the Two Tunnels route. Did a couple of practice runs last week to work out distances, pace and get used to the route then ran properly tonight for the first time in 6 months.

Managed 4km continuous running in 30min which isn't bad but not great (would be equivalent to 37min30s for 5km which is nowhere near my personal best).

Last time I did Parkrun my time was 33min8s so, even though I know I will go faster with other people around, I don't want to go back until I've run a continuous 5k and am somewhat closer to my previous time.

If I don't go this week, the next one I can make is 10 May (since next weekend's the Spring Moot) which gives me 5 or 6 runs to get back into shape.
