I did a little work tonite and discovered that Katainen is an uncles name, who married my great aunt, who was a Wiipi. So, I have absolutely no relation to the Katainens whatsoever. I confused that name with my dear belated Grandmothers maiden name: Kokkonen. Her name was Ellen Lydia Kokkonen. Her fathers name was Charles Kokkonen. My father is checking on the original spelling of the name, but thinks that, in fact (all the lies I've told!) it may be...Swedish! He is checking, but the Finland village my great grandparents came from is very near the border of Sweden.
I'll be back...
:-) So yeah. Do you know any Kokkonens? That's me fam.
OH I can be so UN specific! To clarify, the name Kokkenen is entirely Finnish. The name Wiipi (sp?...it is close) may be Swedish.
Think, eve, think.
And YES. I am sure I will come to Finland some day. If the money were in my lap I would be on a plane to Europe. I know we will meet. I just know this.
