I saw those on youtube a few days ago. It gives me this perverse sense of satisfaction to watch Simon's jaw drop like a stone.

I was amazed he didn't have some kind of smack to talk about appearances, the way he always does on American TV.

Makes me wish we could stop devolving long enough for a show like that to be popular over here-- you know, talent vs "star quality" (or should I say "marketability?")....

They aren't competing for a record deal or anything though. Just the privilege of performing for the royal family. Though if anything comes from the publicity...

Somehow the absence of a record deal makes it much more intriguing. Plus, if he has opportunities after this it won't be because of his tits and ass. There's just something refreshing about it, you know? We let mediocre talent coast on that way too much.
