I'm guessing that the so-called "red berries" may look, smell and taste like dried, crunchy strawberries, but that's just what they want you to believe. I'm guessing that they're actually petro-chemical-based products, injected with all sorts of dyes and flavor-enhancers to look, smell and taste like dried, crunchy strawberries. But they aren't real strawberries, and never were. And the powerful Strawberry Growers Lobby prohibited them from using the word "strawberries" unless the product in question actually is a strawberry.

I suspected as much. Kellogg is probably patting itself on the back that it can at least use the word, "berry" as a descriptor.

But is that really saying much? If companies were required to be that literal, then what in the world is a Frankenberry??

Maybe they want to keep their options open to change it to rasberries in the future or something, so they can call it "new and improved"

How can something be new AND improved....?

I miss you.
