... so that was one of the reasons I decided to watch Nino's "Platina Data"...
SIGH. I'm not going to give a long review about the movie but... I was a bit disappointed. It's weird that I feel disappointed when I don't even have any expectations in the first place. I dunno why, to me it was like when I'm finally feeling something it suddenly ended.. huh. Kind of hard to explain my current thoughts *just finished it minutes ago* ... Of course being a curious person by nature I wanted to watch until the end (& I guessed wrong :P although I do know Nino's character is innocent by instinct) but now that I reached the end, I honestly don't feel like re-watching it. And it doesn't help that my attention is drawn to Toyokawa-san's character instead of the main character XD *sigh* (the same thing happened with GANTZ; I actually like to see Matsuyama Ken'ichi's character more than Nino's... man, I love the ending *I cried!*.. speaking of GANTZ, I need to start reading the manga... *distracted*)...
Anyway. The theme of the movie is quite interesting though. In the end, it just proves that a database of DNAs as shown in the movie is never and should not be done in the real world because it's a direct violation of a person's right to their "personal data". Since the beginning, I already felt how unethically wrong their DNA collecting method... and this was left unanswered at the end, am I right? Are they going to continue the DNA act? I really want to know.
p/s: I ordered some mangas from CD Japan for the first time. They seem to have more shipping options (forever looking for a cheaper but safe alternative to HMV's EMS-only shipping option).. because I'm not concerned with time, I chose registered SAL for now hehe... And I already had some kind of plan done for my manga collection. LOL. Manga collection, huh? XD Anyway.. my list includes Dengeki Daisy (of course!), Kimi no Tame ni Hiku Chopin (so new to this; kept wondering if they do restocks because the 4th volume is currently out of print -- a status that saddens me),Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (I came to a conclusion that I love this after all; I'm going to buy the japanese versions too), Kamisama Hajimemashita/Kamisama Kiss (decided to buy in the end because I love Tomoe XD).... and... Skip Beat! KYAAAAAAA I keep getting into more and more new fandoms, it' so scary XD .. ANYWAY. Skip Beat! revolves around the acting world in Japan so I was deeply intrigued by that alone. Seems like some complained the romance was slow.. but I didn't feel like that at all because I was more focused to Kyoko's career plot haha... and Kyoko's acting style kept reminding me of Ohno's acting style - like imagining their background and environment and how they'll behave around people coming from that background...
OHNO WHY U NO ACT IN MORE MOVIES AND DRAMAS??
