· I sent an anonymous e-mail to an anonymous person today hoping that they might be able to fill the void of the nonjudgmental listening ear that I've felt recently

a big part of you believes we dont care... what do the little parts believe? i care... as much as one person can care about another person whom he's never met... but would like to. :)
while I don't believe that I would be the person(s) that you are talking about when you say that you don't believe that I (a reader) cares about you, I would like to let you know that I do care about you, and that I'm sorry you seem to be feeling judged/uncared for/perhaps lonely although not necessarily in the no people around sort of way

I don't know how to reply to bullets. I don't even know how to make a bullet. Though I have to carry them at work. But that's besides the point. The point has something to do with bullets. That much is decided. And perhaps something about the dangers of pronouns. But that's really neither here nor there. The time has come to talk of many things: of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax -- of cabbages -- and kings -- Okay, I'm going to stop now...this comment has gotten out of hand. But let it be remembered throughout the ages: that no one would tolerate journal entries riddled with bullets: unless they deeply cared.
Also, talking of other things... If you haven't read it yet you should pick it up. If you don't enjoy the book, which you should, you'll at least enjoy one line in it.
Speaking of books. I will read yours eventually and get them back to you, hopefully before you disappear to foreign lands.
Yes, I love Doorways in the Sand. I've read pretty much all of Zelazney, actually...He and Phil Dick are my favorite s-f/f writers of the second half of the 20th. To which line were you referring? I certainly like him climbing around on the buildings, and them kicking him out of college by giving him a PhD. You've read the Amber series, I hope? You certainly should. Everyone should. Jaa, mata.
Rose Marie! I wouldn't have threate... I mean, offered, to name my second daughter after you if I didn't care! Or leave lots of "contributions in [your] little voice mailbox." I do love you! And care about you!
