I don't know how to reply to bullets. I don't even know how to make a bullet. Though I have to carry them at work. But that's besides the point. The point has something to do with bullets. That much is decided. And perhaps something about the dangers of pronouns. But that's really neither here nor there. The time has come to talk of many things: of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax -- of cabbages -- and kings -- Okay, I'm going to stop now...this comment has gotten out of hand. But let it be remembered throughout the ages: that no one would tolerate journal entries riddled with bullets: unless they deeply cared.

Yes, I love Doorways in the Sand. I've read pretty much all of Zelazney, actually...He and Phil Dick are my favorite s-f/f writers of the second half of the 20th. To which line were you referring? I certainly like him climbing around on the buildings, and them kicking him out of college by giving him a PhD. You've read the Amber series, I hope? You certainly should. Everyone should.
