One of our jobs here at the hospital on night shift is to break the operator for half an our. There are only two emergency room clerks on during the night shift and when we break the operator that leaves only one of us manning the entire emergency room for half an hour.

I have visions of you tying them to chairs, shining bright lights in their eyes, holding their heads under cold water, slapping, kicking, punching, etc. Until they scream OK OK I'LL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW!!

Then you let them go after half an hour, tell them to have a nice day, and say you'll see them tomorrow.
