To those in the Dr Who/Torchwood fandom

Is there only one season of Torchwood so far? Would I be better off finding the torrents and watching it uncut? Or just wait and deal with the BBCA version this fall

Only one season of Torchwood so far. They're shooting the next one right now and it's due to start airing in the UK in January. Not sure how much they'll cut out of the BBCA version, so can't really answer that. Probably won't be as bad of an edit as SciFi would have done though. If you'd like the full versions, let me know.

Doctor Who is just finishing showing the third season in the UK and will be starting showing July 6th on SciFi so it's not too far behind. Again, not sure what the edits will be like with that. I haven't watched any of the Doctor on SciFi so I'm not sure how much they've taken out.

No word on when the Region 1 DVDs will be out for Torchwood or S3 Doctor, but I would guess that it shouldn't be too long after their airing here.

Thanks for the info! I will probably download the torrents. I got the first DVD from Dr Who S1 today. I'm two weeks behind on my Tivo, so my ass will be parked in front of the TV for the next week getting caught up, then the festivities will begin!
