I posted these on Facebook but I thought I'd share them here as well. I replace the front lights this weekend.

Here is the before shot. As far as I know the brass & glass fixtures are original to the house when it was built in 1987.

Ahhh, I can tell where my mind is(n't). Had to reread several times to get 1987 instead of 1887... and getting the correct date explains so much about why the light fixtures seemed wrong for the late 1800s...

Thanks Kim. My parents brought it back from a trip to the Southwest shortly after I bought the house.
