Wow....that was....quite a week! My only goal was to make it as far this time as I did in Round 1, so I guess I'm now free of self-expectations ( ... )

I have no idea why I took such a risk so late - I was so sure was doomed - went to bed writing my concession speech in my head - didn't allow for the Orthodox Jews in Arizona who couldn't vote until sundown on Saturday - survived by the skin of my teeth!

Ah, well...'twas a good run while it lasted!!

I honestly got much further than I'd ever expected to get and was delighted to make the final four in the company of so many of my favorite writers and fandom friends...I am sad to go, but not too surprised. I'd had the thought when I wrote it that it might be my last for the round.

Congrats to my fellow competitors...I will be eagerly reading and voting on the next several challenges!!
