I never thought I said this but THANK GOD the voting is over. It was torture when I was close behind maybe1nce. Did I want to stay in at the expense of voters unfairly slamming her drabble? No. Did I really want to lose? Well, no, who would? I tell you, it was quite the quandry!

Now for the good stuff:

Steppy and everyone else, this competition has been such a treat for me! I had some wonderful weeks and every week was interesting. I friended some new people and discovered my fic twin (maybe1nce. I've gotten excited about writing again and best of all, pilli204 and I started a ldws for gen fic. Even my husband, who totally does not get fanfic, became interested and wants to start reading some of the things I wrote for this.

So, thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

First off, I'm sorry to see you go. Your drabbles have been consistently some of my favorites. I think you deserved to continue, but so do maybe1ce and schocolate - so it's difficult to get to this point of the competition when all of you are so great and yet so different and voting becomes torture!

rwhg_ldws has brought so many good things: an renewed interest in writing, interesting challenges, and most of all the opportunity to meet new people. I love getting to know you and to work with you. It's been such a fun experience, and I"m excited for what's to come.

Given the way things have gone over the last few weeks, I was certain that I'd be ousted at the last minute! Now, the results are bittersweet...I'm thrilled to go on and grateful for the Mod's Choice, but so sad to see Miss_Daizy go! These last few weeks have been brutal, because I feel like we got down to a zone where I like the writing of the other writers more than my own sometimes, and I am constitutionally incapable of wishing low scores on anyone!

I don't know about Shoc, but I'm frantically refreshing in mortal terror of the final prompt. Uuuuuuuuuuuugh.

I don't know why it was so much harder to root for myself this close to the end. I'm not even sure I'll vote next week. I hate the idea of choosing between you guys after all this.
