I'm sorry for not responding to this sooner, I'm still catching up on a bunch of things. But what a treat! I'm actually glad I waited until today to read this because it has totally lifted my spirits just when I needed it.

When I started the fic, I was wondering how in the world you could set the prompt post books, but it worked beautifully. Ron stopping their relationship before it bloomed into something else post-battle made sense, and you could tell that the Ron in this fic really has matured... he's now ready for it.

And Harry... *sigh* You did a great job with him! And NEVILLE! Have you caught my fangirling vibes? Because you really made him full of awesome without making Ron's jealousy detract from him.

I have to admit, I went to your LJ and looked around to see how you liked your Neville, and ended up writing something similar... or so I liked to think until you came and told me that you liked it! *yays*

I always try to write my Ron a bit mature, I think it suits him.
