Reminders, announcements, and clarifications

A few things that I wanted to get out there (in no particular order):

• Since there were just a handful of people who ended up fully participating in the Odds 'n' Ends round, there won't be an awards session. I will, however, still be making some kind of special graphic for all of the participants to display. Thanks for your hard work, guys!

I want to double check again. Are you talking midnight between the Sat/Sun or the Sun/Mon as the due time? Because I've been going by the latter (Sun/Mon)and if it's the former(Sat/Sun), I'm going to need an extension to the latter (Sun/Mon) because I've told my beta (it's with them) that it's due midnight between the Sunday/Monday because that's how I interpreted it :S

I can't believe it only crossed my mind to clarify now!

You had it right! It's the midnight between Sunday and Monday, so, given that your beta comes through on time, you should be just fine. :-)

Hello, my LJ username is elentari13 but I can't access it at the moment because my system has crashed earlier this week, and since all of my accounts are set to "remember me", it won't let me access from any other computer (at least I think so). I also can't access my gmail account so I have to contact you this way (I'm on my friends' computer).

The thing is, now that my system is crashed my whole story is gone, and although I'm reconstructing it on paper, I think I can't send it to the beta or you until my computer is fixed (apparently there's something wrong with the RAM memory, if you're interested), which would be for about a week. So I was wondering if you would please give me an extension of about ten days to send the fic and get my beta's confirmation?

Hi Catherine,

Do you remember any of your passwords? I use the "remember me" option for quite a few of my various accounts (email, LJ, etc.), but I'm always able to access them from different computers as long as I know my passwords. That said, as long as you have computer access and your passwords, things should be a lot easier. :-)

If you don't remember your email password, however, here's a relevant snippet from the latest message I sent out:

"Please do consider the fact that, since each participant won't receive their fic until he/she has submitted the one he/she wrote, it affects the person who fulfilled your request as well. Don't let down the person who devoted some of their time and energy into writing something for you! I'm sure that they want their hard work posted as soon as possible, as you would want for your own."

I'll give you ten days to get everything in, although I'd prefer that you submit your stuff before that day, if possible. If you need more time, I'll need to see the progress on your fic first.~JoAnn
