To product a piece of recycled paper takes more oil and natural resources than it takes to grow a tree and cut it down and turn it into paper. Trees are farmed for the sole purpose of paper. Recycling is a feel good piece of crap that costs more energy and natural resouces then it costs to make the original.

I think aluminium is one of the few things that is worth recycling. That and maybe glass...but I can't remember.
