Mad dad in a mini-van?

Over the last few months Cindy and I have been discussing what to do with her Taurus as far as fixing it or trading it in for a more reliable car. Everytime we look at the numbers it just doesn't make sense because we were upside-down on the loan on the Taurus (meaning: we owe more than what it's worth trade-in). I'm pretty sure that the "world's last stick shift mini-van" that my mom drove into the ground was a dodge, maybe a GMC, but I think dodge. THing took all the hits and kept on going we had it FOREVER before it finally died.

Yeah, I remember your guy's Caravan. Sheesh, that thing was old!

We have even considered leasing, which would put worrying about whether or not a van would last for us at rest. Seeing that Cindy doesn't drive that much yet is paying a huge monthly payment for a sedan, it makes a little more sense in our case to lease.
