$3.49 for a gallon of gas?

That's crazy!

Thankfully I got in right under the radar and snagged gas for $3.12 a gallon earlier today.

It's going to be a long and roadtrip-less summer if this keeps going!

We're currently attempting to gather as many Giant Eagle Fuelperks as possible to offset the cost of Holiday World in the gas-guzzler. We're currently sitting at about $3, but I don't think that's going to be much help, besides a free tank of gas.

It's not so bad in the Civic. But when I think about it, I was able to fill up the gas tank for $17 when I bought it 3 and a half years ago. Now compare that to $35, I'm beginning to have a problem with this.

Not to mention that groceries and other stuff you need to live off of will go up because of rising shipping costs.

Going up to our friend's house (out MiA's way) is probably the only thing we'll do this year, and we're only going because they're helping us out in being able to afford to go!

Yeah, we're going to stick by close. After our Virginia trip earlier this year in the van, I wasn't liking how much we spent in gas.

paying over $30 a tank makes me very happy to get almost 500 miles into a tank, however it makes me want to curl up and cry that I'm paying that much to begin with.

It's sad that I was excited to get gas for 2.99 yesterday! Crazy. . .
