Brittany sings!

We went to Brittany's choir concert last night. She was very excited and did a great job. Most of all, she was thrilled to have family 2.0 there for her (me, Bonnie, Breannon, Emberleigh and Aily). Afterwards, we headed out to Cinzetti's for dinner where Brittany found there to be a wonderful array of vegetarian options. I followed her example

I didn't know Brittany had become vegetarian. If you find any good recipes to share, let me know. I'm dating a vegetarian and my recipe books have become sadly lacking.

We do some interesting things, as Brittany is fully lacto-ovo vegetarian, Breannon, Bonnie and I are flexitarian (mostly vegetables, but occasionally meat), and Emmi and Aily are definite carnivores

I never saw the point of simulated meat, but one of my favourite dishes is black bean burgers. I got asked by someone if I was making a tofurkey for thanksgiving. I said no. I made a turkey for the carnivores and a veggie pot pie for the herbivores. Thanks for the ideas on how to mix it up. I'll have to try them.
