Unfortunately, my mother decided to get a face-lift in June instead of going to Cincinnati, which she pushed back to September. Since you are already planning a Southern Cal visit, make one of them Palm Springs. Nice dry heat, lots of things to do, and plenty of boyz!

I really enjoyed Alaska in August. Awesome hiking, and I took a day cruise to see glaciers. It was warm but there was still snow on the hills.
