But I only sound like one... I'm totally not HGTV material. My house is ugly and thrown together... my central decorative piece in my living rom is a 2-foot pineapple painting that was left by the previous tennant in my house. It's both hideous and endearing at the same time.
Martha Stewart I am not... but lately I've been feeling like I could be, someday. I dunno, I guess the older you get, the more you want to pick out stuff. So when you come home, home feels like you... your home becomes an extension of your being. It's not important in childhood because it's all your parent's stuf anyway, and the college years are so temporary that you don't invest in too much that is long term. But then you reach this age where you're ready to settle into the role you're going to assume for the rest of your life. And strangely enough, home decor is a part of that role.

Don't you think it'd be neat if they had DVD players, surround sound systems, and all that other home theater stuf in spiffy other colors like Candy Apple Red, or Midnight Blue. They could do the exteriors of electronics in the most popular car colors!!! that'd be neat XD
