OMG I WRITED ON LAPSUS MEMORIAE
Chapter is not finished, not by a long shot, but OMG I WROTE SOMETHING. And it wasn't even like pulling teeth, even. Here's an excerpt, completely unpolished:
Sunstreaker snorted, but didn’t deny it, only giving his brother another sour look. “Is this everything?” he asked, changing the subject.
“Yeah,” Sideswipe said, sighing in resignation. “We’re gonna have to make a whole new batch of high grade after this.”
Sunstreaker arched an optic ridge. “This is all that’s left out of the last one?” he asked dubiously. “Sides, I thought you had high grade hidden everywhere on this Primus-forsaken base.”
Sideswipe snorted. “I did. I think there’s still some on the Ark, somewhere, in fact. But Ultra Magnus did a sweep last time he was here, before the Battle. If it’s illegal, or at least unsanctioned, that mech will fucking find it. Primus help me if I know how he does it, too.” His expression couldn’t be called anything but a pout. “Only thing that saved my plating is that he couldn’t pin it on anyone.”
Sunstreaker smirked in sudden amusement. “You got spoiled, is what happened. Prime always turned a blind optic to it, and it made you careless.”
“Whatever,” Sideswipe said, trying for a dismissive tone and waving a hand carelessly. “Are you ready to go?” Sunstreaker nodded, lifting up his own box of party currency.
“Ready when you are,” he said.
