I love music. I don't play an instrument. I don't sing. Though I have a very good sense of rhythm and can pick up steps very quickly, I will never be the incredible dancer or skater I had always hoped I would be. I took up vidding largely due to my love of music and a near desperate need to find a way to celebrate it using my own creativity. ( Read more... )

You'd just point and laugh at me for anything I recommend. :P. You've mentioned that I have horrible taste in music. ;)

Good luck finding something. I'm sure you'll find something.

I don't recognize any of those artists *hangs head in shame*

I guess you could try, The Airborne Toxic Event, Nick Cave and the Black Seeds, and Hadag Nachash (I love thier music), Flobots.

They're actually tracks rather than artists. I'm familiar with Nick Cave, and I absolutely adore the track that was used in Harry Potter 7.1. The others, I'll have to check out. I'll let you know what I think.

Kamelot's The Black Halo album (based loosely on the German epic Faust) hasn't left my car player since roughly February. Florida symphonic metal with a Norwegian former male opera singer. Yeah baby!

Zaedah, I actually have a couple of songs from that album, though I haven't listened to the entire thing. March of Mephisto is a sensational track. I'll check out the rest, per your recommendation.

In the meantime, stay safe and check in when you can to let me know you've ridden out the storm ok.

March is the epitome of awesome! But the album as a whole is like opening a book. The title track, Abandoned and Memento Mori are the favs.

Hee hee... at least for today, we're so alike!
