I am not the Mother Teresa of the Gays

I'm so tired of people accusing me of being evil and soulless. All their evidence against me is circumstantial, at best.

So sure, yeah, I failed to fog up that mirror that one time with my breath, it doesn't mean anything, that was just one time ( Read more... )

Oh lordy yes...I've heard the palm oil lectures too. Not from my boyfriends but from friends who are a little greener than I am. I'm also not supposed to use my favorite washing powder, some soaps and on and on. I must have already killed whole hordes of monkeys then. Somehow I fail to give a damn. I know I should but...sorry, I don't. If that makes me an evil monkey killer, then so be it.

LOL oh I know, I try to feel guilty but just couldn't! I guess I do feel bad once I see pictures of monkeys. It's just so hard to buy things that don't have those ingredients!

It sounds like I've massacred thousands of monkeys through my life; been a lifelong lover of Oreos. I've sometimes heard the dieting joke that a kitten dies each time you eat an Oreo... but actually killing monkeys? I've never before heard of that palm oil story!

"The other day, he caught me eating a whole bag of them in the middle of the night, in the closet. While watching "Drop Dead Diva" streaming on Netflix on my phone. My first response: "Don't judge me, you don't know me!""

Haha! That one amused me. :) And I love Kit Kat bars! They're so good.

Wow, I'm still a little blown away about that palm oil story. My stepdad was a very health-conscious, green, conspiracy-theorist vegan and even he never, ever brought up the palm oil story and killing monkeys. Though something tells me he wouldn't have cared about it; he loved him some Oreos despite his healthy vegan ways.

haha yeah this whole palm oil thing was news to me also! i was kind of shocked. Yeah i can imagine people being really into health conscious foods, but then having a weakness like oreo cookies. I just can't stop eating them!

LOL...i know, that's a big thing...you can't spend your life looking at labels, if I did that, i wouldn't eat ANYTHING and it would take forever to shop. Maybe if i was rich and had a lot of time on my hands...I could probably try to save the environment by eating better. but until then...i'll go on with my oreo cookies!
