Oh yeah that's a good idea! I think those tv shows should do an investigation, it's pretty weird! I'll have to look into that :)

On a lighter note, if I were a ghost, the last place I'd hang around would be at the workplace. But I agree, it could be an "imprint", or someone communicating (using our methods of communication, or at least the sounds) that they want to communicate something. It doesn't sound like a threat though.

Well the parapsychologist me says "actually your are right but on a technicality" while the medium/clairvoyant me counters "They exist but just not in the board sense of the literal/visual/media interpretation of what a ghost is.

If you have a high building as in about 7 stories it is possible that you are encountering a physical representation of spiritual energies, it could also be an echo from another floor but by the sounds of it I doubt that. It is nothing to worry about as she is perfectly harmless and isn't actually aware that there is anyone around her :-)

Yeah the building I'm in is about 10 stories high...so it could be an echo of SOMETHING. But you're right, If it really was true, i'm pretty sure it's harmless :)

That figures, when I did a bit of parapsychology/ghost investigation about 10/15 years ago, I encountered a building like that where it was over 7 stories and you could hear things happening in the flat above but it had been empty for a good while due to various reasons which is why I wondered about the office.

That is pretty creepy. I don't think you're crazy. I've had too many strange experiences that can't be explained for me to tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that ghosts don't exist, though. I've had some weird stuff happen, myself, over the years that have screamed to the contrary. They do exist.

You should try to record the sound... If you hear it again turn your recorder on, on your phone... How strange.
