That's always been one of my favorite lines. It looks great.

I've tried to design a tattoo around this quote before, but the imagery that came to mind was tied directly to the Carolinas. Since I'm from Virginia I ditched the idea as the Carolina images held no emotion for me (and it seemed weird to use Virginia themes with a quote that's originally about the Carolinas). But it's nice to see that someone can just go with the text alone.

carolina doesn't mean anything to me in particular either - i've never lived or visited there. i've lived in other portions of the south and used the line as the south in general.

Yeah, that's cool. The south in general does rule. We had a snowstorm in Virginia today and as I was out hiking around I saw a female cardinal cross my path and I thought about how wonderful life can be in the right place.
