I am seriously getting a 'we are gunna all die' feeling. I have been doing some research for work and found some stuff that makes me hope our curiosity does come around to bite us in the ass.

First up we have this. It talks about how the Air Force research team is experimenting with AI. They have a thinking, learning, self replicating AI

Yikes. hahaha Those are all kind of scary.

I am really upset about the zombie dog thing...that is so fucked up what they are doing to the puppies. They kill them and then bring them back to life after 3 hours. Can you imagine how traumatic that must be for them? >=(!!!

Probably alot, but it is in the name of science. The zombie dog thing happened because they are trying to find ways to 'cryogenicly freeze' people. Well, the freezing part we can do, just not the unfreezing part so well - hence the dog experiment.

On the other hand, maybe its not traumatic for the dogs. For all we know it could be just like waking up from a coma...you feel like you were just asleep.
