Just last night I re-read the great novel of Peter Pan. It reminded me of an instance between myself and an old teacher of mine. He had asked us to write an essay (no maximum length was given!) on a topic of our choice from the list that he had prepared. I chose the topic of "Children's literature." After reading the essay a second time, I'm still amazed at the attitude of the teacher. To reject something that has had so much work put into it, is so well thought out and written so well that even I can understand it shows a total lack of responsibility on his part. No wonder you left his class, he obviously wasn't there for anything other than a paycheque.
