For God's sake, let everyone have their public love day. In fact, love day was going to completely pass me by until YOU had to rub it in my face. ;-)

I'm not actually. I was feigning it for emphasis. ;-)

I could care less if my best friends decide to do the love day thing. In fact, you can be sure as hell that I'll be doin' it (in my own, subdued and swooningly romantic way) if I had a date. So, whatever.

Right on!!! I for one, have suffered through many Valentine's Days terrified when choosing a card or gift lest the recipient think that either was not enough, or not adequate.

Although past experiences have left a bad taste in my mouth, I don't negate the experiences of others who have "someone special" in their life.
