Happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know.

- Ernest HemingwayUnique, one of a kind, strange, a character...all aforementioned terms have been labeled on me at some time or another throughout my life. I've been called brilliant, smart, an intellect, and even genius. Perhaps the weight of carrying those titles around on my ( Read more... )

Hi Ryan I would Love for you to find that perfect person . I feel you have. Look back at your comments on who you need and than think of who would do all this and come to you no matter what. Sometimes friends are all you need and you have to sit and think of who knows all my faults, who has held me,(when scooter died, etc. ),who answers the phone at3.00, who listens to all your whoes, who knows your needs more than me. Who do I call if you need someone? Sometimes friends are the people who love more than anyone else can ( beside your Mom).Your Dad and I have wished you find someone. Sometimes what is right in front of your face cannot be seen. I know we have had this conversation before but you have to make a list and see who fits your wants and needs. All I know if something happened to me or Dad I would be happy to know you were happy and loved. Also I mean't to tell you today how proud I am off you . You have come so far and I think from now on only great things are for you, because you conquered all. I love you and hope I did ( ... )

You spend many long and lonely hours wondering what flaw people have used to justify excluding you as a person, that you’re not quite what they are looking for ( ... )

Remember what I was saying about my gut feelings? What I didn't mention is that usually the truth behind the statement doesn't really hit me until much after the fact, a sort of esprit d'escalier. (A French idiom which basically describes that moment of brilliance you have when you think of a perfect comeback for a comment someone said to you at a party, only to realize that you're in the staircase, on the way out.) I was right about what I said. You don't ever seem like you're having fun. But more importantly, after having read what you posted, it makes more sense. You admit yourself to never wearing anything out on your sleeve ( ... )
