Updating from my new Asus Eee PC 1005HA. The battery on this thing seems to last forever. I brought it out and used it for about 4 hours and it still has 50% battery left!

Mine is its predecessor. I type this from my 1000HE on the living room floor of my famous friend's apartment in Queens. (Gah I am leaving New York in 2.5 days GAH!) And yes, the battery life is phenomenal.

The 1000HE is a great machine too. Some still prefer the 1000HE to the 1005HA.

The keyboard on the 1000HE is the raise Chiclet buttons. Some prefer that to the flat keys on the 1005HA.

The trackpad of 1005HA is dimpled and it's kinda hard to tell where are the ends of the trackpad.

Overall, I think the build of 1000HE is a tad sturdier than 1005HA.
